In order to maintain a high level of service, Hortim International holds a number of certificates :

ISO 9001

Hortim International is bearer of ISO 9001 which guarantees long term stability of high level services and products . As part of this process we naturally strive to improve all processes servicing our customers.

TESCO standart

Hortim is bearer of the Tesco standart certificate.

BIO certificate

Hortim International is bearer of the certificate "Trade and processing of ecological agriculural products as per law Nr. 553/2005"

IFS certificate

Globalised markets lead to internationalised systems of quality assurance of products and the demand for corresponding auditing procedures. Objective of IFS is the establishment of standards which shall guarantee the product safety of all relevant product portfolios of the private labels of retail. Quality management and process safety, together with the responsibility of all parties involved in the safety of traded products, has been the yardstick for IFS standards in the past and will continue to be yardstick in the future.

Golden ducat award

The prestigious Golden Ducat award is awarded by the „Moderní Obchod“- (Modern Commerce) magazine for excellent performance in the fresh food and retail industry by an independent jury of experts. Unlike the top 50 of retailers , (also compiled by the Modern Commerce editors), this award is not based on quantity but on quality level. The Golden Ducat was coined for the first time in the 12th century by Czech King Jan of Luxembourg and it has become a symbol for this award.
